"On Sunday mornings, Maylo offers Sunday School classes for every age - including nursery and toddler care. These classes are a great way to meet people, develop friendships and help each other to live our lives in such a way that Jesus would be pleased with us"
Worship at Maylo is a mix of traditional music (think "Amazing Grace" and "It Is Well With My Soul") with a bit of praise music (think of songs by contemporary Christian artists and Maranatha-style music) mixed in. Usually there are about 120 people in worship, not too big, not to small, but with plenty of room to grow! Maylo grew along with the mill industry in the Ranlo neighborhood of Gastonia and now has expanded it's ministries into the new housing developments that have been and continue to be built around Spencer Mountain. Maylo is a family church which means that there is a high value placed on personal relationships and knowing each other. Pastor Laura and the members of Maylo invite you to worship!
Maylo was founded in the Ranlo Community of Gastonia in 1918. The name Maylo is a combination of two family names, The Mayes Family & The Love Family, who helped the church get off the ground.
